Our first century stand was a big success during filming, but afterwards, the sheer size became somewhat of a hindrance. As a result, we decided to build a more compact rack to house them as well.

To make the rack, we used metal piping, commonly sold at home centers. We also needed some metal working machinery to cut the piping. It turns out that we already possessed a machine (pipe threading machine) that could do what we needed. We were elated to find that this machine could thread, cut and deburr metal pipes of multiple different diameters.

After putting the different parts together according to the design, finally the durable century stand rack shown here was completed.

The rack can hold 15 long centuries, and 15 short centuries, totaling 30 centuries, all in one compact storage unit.
