Using our combined experiences, at Studio Placebo we’ve developed our own tools in house, specialized for stop motion animation. We’re devoted to figuring out different ways to make our workflow and workspace run more efficiently.
Welcome to our STUDIO!
One of our strong points is that our filming area is directly connected to our crafting workspace. This enables us to smoothly move sets, puppets and other items back and forth, as well as flexibly make corrections, amongst other things.
Our shooting space is around stop motion filming scale (It’s rather small, and not aimed at shooting human sized people). It’s an environment best suited for stop motion animation, where we’re free to use our own, originally made in-house machinery.
In addition to the main workspace, we have 3 smaller booths, each specialized to a different aspect of our stop motion process.
